Hello all, I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving. Tony, Jackson, Daisy and myself went to Little Rock to spend the holiday with Tony's family. It was a great visit. Tony's mom is doing really well after her open heart surgery in late September. She couldn't hold Jackson because he exceeds the amount of weight she is able to pick up, but enjoyed watching him destroy her house. We had to undecorate the living room during our stay.
Daisy got skunked the night before we were coming home. The smell woke me up in the house and I laid in bed and prayed that she didn't get hit. The skunk was obviously in the yard, but Daisy did not take a direct hit. I think she got it on her face sniffing around. So, we had a fragrant ride home and a bath the next morning. She is all sparkly and sweet smelling now. She had the saddest look on her face until the smell went away.
Little Rock is 5 hours from home, so we left at 8:30 pm and arrived at 1:30 in the morning. Worked out great as Jackson slept the whole way and didn't get off his schedule.
Last night we bought a new Christmas Tree & went to see Santa. The old one did not promote marital bliss as the limbs had to be attached and the lights strung. Was such a problem, we haven't put up a tree in the last several years. Went with hinged limbs and prelight. How glorious was that 10 minute set up. Finding it difficult on what to get Jackson for Christmas since we will be in Lubbock. Have to remember, it not only has to get to Lubbock, it has to get home. This year wont be too tough as the wrapping paper, boxes and bows will be the most interesting thing to him.
I hope all is well with each and everyone of you.

Jackson's first visit with Santa. He did great and even smiled, except I didn't get it on camera.
