HAPPY BELATED MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL THE MOMMIES, NEW & OLD
I had a good, but lazy mother's day. Jackson stayed with his Aunt Dana from Friday to Sunday afternoon. Tony and I had a big party to go to at the river on Saturday and had a blast. Quickly discovered that we are too old to stay up that late, so it was nice to sleep in on Sunday morning.
I am getting better about not crying when I leave Jackson with others. Didn't shed a tear. Although I did miss him terribly and even though we had a good weekend just the two of us, something was definately missing.
He did have a whole bunch of fun with his Aunt Dana and was very busy washing rocks in the dog's water bowl when we arrived to pick him up. That boy has gills hidden somewhere on his body, just like his daddy.
Painting Aunt Dana's driveway (I don't think there was actual paint on his roller)
And this is what a prissy poodle looks like after playing in the water and the sand. Pitiful huh?
