Hello all, It has been a while and alot has happened. Not too mention, I finally looked at some pictures on my camera that were from my sister's suprise 40th birthday party in April. So, it's going to be a long one, but with lots of pictures.

Very close up of Jackson

Remember the rat story? This could be the one. Jackson was standing at the window pointing and giggling. This rat was coming out from underneath the hot-tub to eat the bird food. She was the first one I saw. If she would have just kept to herself and not invited all the other rats in the neighborhood, we would have been ok. I kinda got attached to her. But no, she invited friends and I counted five in my garage.

Backyard fun at the River House.

Who needs a pool when you have a dog bowl?

This past weekend, we went to Little Rock for Tony's High School reunion. Jackson enjoyed taking rides on Nana G's scooter. I am not sure who had more fun.

After the reunion and Jackson's bed time, we went over to Tony's life long friend Alex's house for dinner. He has the most amazing home, and the view, there are no words.

On Sunday, Father's Day, we spent the day at Tony's sister's house. Jackson was helping Grandpa tie his shoes. Jackson has a HUGE fascination right now with shoes. I can only pray I am not raising Al Bundy (the father on the old sitcom Married with Children).

Now to catch you up on everything else. I have resigned from my current job and as of today, I am unemployed. However, I start my new job on Wednesday the 25th. It was hard to leave my old company, but the timing was right and I needed a change of scenery. The new job is still in print sales, but is a bit different as I will be brokering print instead of working for a manufacturing facility. The new place just landed a HUGE contract that they need help managing the volume so it should be fun. Say prayers for me and wish me luck. I will need it.
I am sorry, but the "hiney" pic takes the cake!!!! If I had one of Mackenzie, it would already have been blown up to a 5x7 and framed, ON THE WALL!!!! I love it!! I think I'm gonna go buy a bucket today and try and stage one of those pics... it's that cute. Except she has my butt....
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the new job, we love you!!!
