Thanksgiving Update!!

Jackson is feeling much better - although I am not sure he ever felt bad. He played his little heart out over the weekend. Most of the time, he made mom and dad chuckle, but there were some episodes of time out and a few spankings as he just got out of control.

After we found out Wednesday that we would not be leaving town, I rushed to the grocery store with all other 200 last minute shoppers so my boys could have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Tony fried a turkey on Thursday while I whipped up the rest.

Friday was Tony's birthday. Didn't have a lot planned as I wasn't expecting to be in town, but I hope he had a good day. Happy Birthday my sweet - love you!!

Update on Stella's hair cut. Because the groomer failed to listen when I said "don't cut her short, she is an outdoor dog" I had to go get her two coats, one is posted below. As of today, one of them is almost in shreds and the other has a giant hole in it. There goes another $50 bucks. I made a cover out of vinyl for her kennel and Daisy sometimes opts to sleep with Stella instead of her doghouse. So, Stella stays warm at night, but in the morning when I let her out, her coats have to come of and the cover for her kennel has to be put inside the kennel, or it will be in shreds within an hour. Sad for her, she can't snuggle in bed during the day. Neither can Daisy for that matter, her dog house has to be gated or Stella will chew up Daisy's bed. Have I mentioned a dog pooping fleece is gross? Sigh - maybe some day she will grow a brain in that pretty little head of hers.

Christmas has been put up at the Graham household and Jackson has only broken 1 ornament thus far. I do think he FINALLY realizes he needs to leave them on the tree and just look. We have two unwrapped presents which will stay unwrapped until a later date so I don't have to do things over 100 times.
