HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET BABY BOY!!

Yes, Jackson turns 2 today. I can't believe how time has flown by and I can't believe how much fun the past couple of years have been. When Tony and I found out we were pregnant, alot of folks were as shocked as we were and kept telling us how our lives would change. There was always a negative connotation associated with that remark. We had been together for a long time and had the freedom to come and go as we pleased, travel where ever we wanted. Looking back, they were right - our lives did change, BUT FOR THE BETTER. Seeing the world through the eyes of child makes everything brand new again. I don't feel tied down, I don't feel like I have sacrificed an ounce of freedom to have this sweet child as a member of our family. Actually, we still go and do as we please, we just have a short person in tow.

The terrible two's might be upon us, we have had some interesting fits lately. Wall-E ornament resulted in a complete meltdown. Birthday cake that we brought home last night for his party resulted in a complete meltdown, but even with that being said, he is still a joy. Most of the time, I still manage to laugh during a fit, other times, he gets sent to his room until he can act nice. Couple of spankings have been through in as well for good measure.

Lest you forget that day - God blessed us with a miracle. A sweet, good-natured child who I can't wait to share my life with. I am thankful everyday for this sweet boy. I am thankful everyday for a wonderful husband who is a great father. My heart swells to capacity to see the two of them interact - to watch as Tony teaches Jackson the ways of the world.
