IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN A MORE PERFECT DAY!!

My Mother's Day could not have been more perfect. And it was not a planned thing - but a God thing.

Yesterday morning, as we were launching our new to us fishing boat (Tony's Daddy gave us his River Rat boat) there was a baptism going on across the river. Tony looked at me and said, "Mom, I want to be baptized". So we scooted across the river and Tony rededicated his life to Christ yesterday. In addition, we dedicated Jackson into a life of Christ in the Brazos River. It was such a Godly intervention that the timing was so perfect, the location so perfect as the Brazos is our favorite place to be. I cried while my boys were in the water and the folks from the Church all gave me hugs and wishes of a Happy Mother's Day. Still brings tears to my eyes.

After that, we spent the entire day on the beach. Throwing the stick for the dogs and letting Jackson run around and play in the water. At one point, he got scolded by a bird for getting too close to her nest that was in the sand and she became the "mean, scawwyy bird". He cried for a while after his scolding.

I love my life and am very blessed. Blessed in abundance!!
