IT'S HOT. IT'S STINKIN' HOT. IT'S UNBELEIVABLY HOT
. You can't spend any considerable time out doors unless there is water involved.

The drought in Texas continues and gets worse and worse. I pray for rain soon. The crop devastation is mind boggling. The cattle ranchers can't feed their stock, landscapes are dying, lakes are drying up. Nothing we can do, but pray for rain, alot of rain.

Here are some pictures of Lake Travis.

"Already, more than 2 million acres of cotton that are not being irrigated have been lost. That's adding $1.1 Billion to the estimated $1.5 billion loss agriculture officials announced in mid-May. That included livestock and wheat, corn and sorghum crop losses from November through May 1." The Washington Post, July 27th. Until you drive around and see it, you simply cannot imagine. Total wasteland.
