Not sure what it is about Parks' girls that like to walk long distances, but Mendy, Taylor and I signed up for the Color Me Rad 5K this past weekend - and we took the kids! IT WAS A BLAST.
The cover you in colored corn starch in route and the kids thought it was the bomb (no pun intended). We did not run, but the kids did, almost the whole way. They were so cute.
Afterwards, we went to CiCi's pizza and let everyone stare at us. It was pretty funny.
Funniest quote of the day: "stop it Mackenzie, your going to make a mess", says her Mother, in route, during the 5K Color run.
Peanut butter/ jelly sandwiches and "The Lorax". Great way to end a great day!

We had a BLAST! A bit whiney on our end, but I think it was just that time of the month for Mackenzie. Oh, wait, she's 5. Nevermind..... Love ya'll!
