THANKSGIVING 2012

We went to Lubbock this year for Thanksgiving and had a FABULOUS trip.  What made it so special?  Right before the Holiday, my dad dodged a cancer diagnosis.  He has been having some respiratory problems and all indications were pointing to lymphoma.   They did a biopsy and discovered no cancer, but simple inflammation of the lymph nodes.  Couple of weeks on some meds and the breathing was considerably improved.

And, Mom's cooking was awesome as usual.  She is the consummate planner and has the menu planned out for every meal for the entire weekend.  The effort she puts into make sure we are all well fed is greatly appreciated.  And by well fed, she makes some of the best dishes!

The weather was perfect and we played alot of football outdoors.  Roxie and her girls and their families were there and the kids had a great time.
