HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET BABY BOY!!Can you believe it? Jackson turned 1 on January 9th. Very monumental day as we got to turn the car seat around so he could actually see where he is going and eat a special birthday cup cake. I thought we needed practice for the big birthday party on the 12th.
As you can see, all of the cupcake is gone. we are just working on the icing now.

On the Saturday after his birthday, the 12th, we had a birthday party. Had about 30 people over for fajitas and the eating of the cake. I ordered the cake for the guests, but I made Jackson a special cake from his mommy. Good food + Good Friends = Great Evening.

Jackson enjoyed unwrapping his presents and liked all his toys. My house has been taken over. Jackson has his own play room to keep most of his toys in, but usually has some in the living room too. Although he still prefers to play with the real telephone and/or the real remotes. We even put out ones we don't use to try and fake him out, but it doesn't work.

And Finally the cake!!

He tunneled into the cake and just ate the cake part. His daddy was worried about him going into sugar shock.
Playing with toys.

And now for the biggest news of all: Jackson is walking!! On Sunday, after his party, Papa went out the front door to put stuff in their car and Jackson crawled to the front door to see where he went and stood up against the door. Tony called for him to stop pounding on the glass door and Jackson turned around and started walking up the hall way to his daddy. I cried and Tony leaped across the living room in about 2 steps because he was afraid Jackson was going to hit his head on the tile. Since then, he has been practicing, but today, I think he officially crossed over to being a Bi-ped. What a big boy!

And one last cute picture of Jackson and his daddy.
He is too precious. I began planning Rylee's 1st birthday party today. BIG FUN! It is amazing that a year has already passed. Jackson is gorgeous with that dark hair and huge blue eyes. I love and miss you. We need to get together sometime! colbie
