WHEW!! What a week. Started out with surgery on Monday. Jackson had tubes put in his ears. Very quick procedure, we were in the waiting room under 15 minutes before the doctor came out and told us all was good. My baby was back in my arms in 25 minutes. The whole thing was harder on me than it was him. And yes, I cried. Tried not to, but you all know me, I am a cry baby.

Jackson after surger in the crib - aka - baby jail - POST SURGERY
He is ok, don't worry, he is mad because his balloon hand flew out of baby jail.
Did pretty good on Tuesday, went to school and mom and dad went to work. Tuesday evening, we threw up dinner and a night time bottle. Wednesday, had to go home from school because of throwing up. Spent Thursday and Friday at home with mom with an awful phlemgy cough and running high fever - 103.5. Doc says it's likely viral since he is still having the fever even though he has been on antibiotics most of the week. Nothing to worry about unless his wheezing and coughing gets worse. Already sounds awful to me, but no need in going in I guess.

The good thing: he is very cuddly and sweet. The bad thing: he is cuddly because he feels like crap.

Funny picture of Daisy at the River house. She does not want to miss out on a Mule ride so she just sits in it.
Daisy sticking her snout through her peep hole at the river house.

Jackson and Daisy wondering where Tony went and why he didn't take them with him.
I hope all else is good in your world. Wish us good health!!

  1. Awww, poor baby. Jackson, we thought of you this week and I wanted to call Mommy but we had a similarly busy week. Yuck! Anyway, hope this helps your little ears, we're praying that baby jail and minor pain will not have been suffered in vain..... NO MORE EAR INFECTIONS!!! We love you precious little boy!
