12 Month visit (although he is 13 months)
and check up!

We had an afternoon of doctor visits and it is with a sigh of relief that I say Jackson got a good report. Pediatrician said that although he is still coughing a bit and still has some chest congestion, but he seemed to be making a good recovery. It was heartwarming to see how protective he was of Jackson in making sure the walking pneumonia diagnosis was correct and asked a ton of questions on what they did, how they did it and who did it because Care Now, an after hours Urgent care center is who actually made the diagnosis. Even asked for the radiologist's report of his chest x-rays to see what they saw and to make sure a radiologist is actually the one who saw them.

He did give us a Nebulizer to help combat the coughing and wheezing and we had our first treatment in his office, which had immediate results. Glad we finally have that to make Jackson more comfortable.

Doctor also said there was no reason to postpone vaccinations, so after lots of qustions on my part, we went ahead with those. Ironically, while doing some research this morning on pneumonia, I came across this article http://www.babycenter.com/204_doctor-who-raised-vaccine-autism-alarm-faces-hearing_5169905.bc

Seems the guys who published the reports are facing legal action on unethical methods and inaccuracies. We went ahead with the shot this afternoon, but not before we said a prayer out loud.

Here are his stats:
Weight: 22 lbs and 13 oz: 25th-50 Percentile (closer to 50)
Height: 30 3/4 Inches: 50th percentile
Head circumference: 18 1/2 inches: average

Met all of the other milestones for an adorable baby his age. Very proud Momma.

Next we went to the Ear, Nose and Throat doc who said his ears looked great. Don't have to go back there for 6 months.

Thank you all for your prayers while he was sick. I got alot of cuddle time in, which is good, but only because he felt so rotten.

I wish you all good health and prosperity for the rest of the year. Lets quite going to the Doctor!
