Hello all, My cousin Mendy often gives short little book reviews on her blog on the current entertainment in her life. Nice idea, so I thought I would share what's occupying my small, but cherished moment of quiet in my life.

My other cousin Leigh Anne (how grateful I am to all of my cousins for keeping me entertained), turned me on to this author. I very much like books who are a continuation of a story line or character. This one is about a female Bounty Hunter who is terrible at her job, personal life and has a loving but strange family. Very entertaining. Won't teach you much, but that's not the point. Seldom do I spend my quiet time on things that teach me somthing. Would rather turn that side of my brain off for the few minutes I have a day to spend on me. That's today's feelings anyway, check in tomorrow, I am female, it could change. Back to the book, this series starts out with "One for the Money". You don't have to start at the beginning to understand, but they are all worth the read.

On another note, some interesting and entertaining blogs to check out for those who like to be updated on the activities of others.

Allison and Scotty: http://scottyandallison.blogspot.com/
Allison and I have known each other since we were little and she is "chosen family". Almost a year ok, her, husband Scotty and two pooches sold their house, most of their belongings, bought a fifth wheel and truck and took off. Allison is a traveling nurse and rotates assignments every six weeks. She has been to Maine, Georgia and is now in Montana. Scotty does most of the posts and does a really nice job of describing where they are, where they've been, what's historical about the location, who jacked them up, who helped out. His descriptive writing style is SUPER entertaining and you very much will feel like you are there. Keep your dictionary handy, he likes big words.

Chris and Mendy: http://tigersandlonghorns.blogspot.com/
Mendy is my cousin on my dad's side. She and I have become super close in the last couple of years as we have experienced pregnancy and motherhood together. Her little girl, Mackenzie is three months older than Jackson. The Grand adventures of the Blevin household are also a riot with plenty of posts to keep you entertained.

Anyhoo - those are two that I keep up with on a regular basis that you might find worth the time. I have others, but they have to post more often before I expand their reader base.

Pictures to come soon.
