SUMMER FUN!!!

Hello fans of the Graham Fam. It's definitely summer time and the water fun has begun.

In May, we went to see Grandpa and Grandma Martha. The only water we ran into there was the incessant rain that Little Rock has had this spring. If the entire area doesn't just turn into mold, it will take them all summer to dry out. While we were there, we brought home Tony's dad's fishing boat, the River Rat. For our avid followers, you remember our fishing boat, The Green Weenie, has more character than I can really describe here. How to capture the essence of that boat.... just no words. (Double click the pic for a closer look)
Yes - it says The Green Weenie on the back. This boat is well known all over the river. Everybody definately knows it us. Funny thing is, we spend more time in the small fishing boats than we do the Supra because the dogs can go with us.

The River Rat comes with the following amenities that Tony finds delightful (ok- Tony has never said delightful - how about kick ass)
1) Electric Start (no more yanking on the 1956 engine on the Weenie)
2) A seat for everyone - even Jackson has his own chair
3) Lots of cubby holes for necessities
4) Trolling motor (which tops out at about 60 mph)
5) Mom can actually drive and help trailer the boat
I don't have pictures yet - but will try to take some this weekend.

PREPARE FOR LANDING

Last Sunday we spent a quiet afternoon in the backyard at the River House. Ok - maybe it wasn't so quiet because Jackson discovered how much fun it is to play in the sprinkler.

After Sprinkler fun, we took the dogs down to the river so they could swim. Here is Jackson trying to decide if he wanted to swim too.
"Look Momma, I swimmin!!" He is very proud that he can float on his back.
