SUMMER TIME, SUMMER TIME, SUMMER TIME, SUMMER TIME!!!

YEAH!!! It's summer time again and water season has begun. If you remember last summer, Tony and I were just learning to Sky Ski and last weekend was my first ride since last season. I was nervous, but it all came back and felt really great. Now I just have to learn to do some jumps and tricks.

Taylor came out and spent Saturday with us and she is really good on the wake board - especially since she doesn't get to do it very often. As always, I really enjoyed my time with her. She is such a bright light in my life.

Monday morning, while we were out on the water, 4 F-16's kept buzzing over the water. We got closer to our friends Mike and Barbi's place and they had a huge American Flag that about 20 of them were waving to the pilots. Those 4 jets, buzzed us for almost half an hour. At one point, I was on the sky ski and one of the jets came up behind me super low over the water. You can't hear them coming until they are on top of you and this guy was flying low and gave us all a wing wiggle to say thanks for the flag. I didn't wipe out, but close. Seeing those jets in the air always brings tears to my eyes as they are up there for our freedom, for our liberties and for the right for us to goof off on the water while they are at work. But, can you really call the chance to fly one of those jets work? I bet they would all tell you no. They knew we were having a blast as they gave us our own little air show on Memorial Day. Jackson get laughing and saying "Mom, those are the good guys!!!"

So, to all of my armed services - I thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing what you do. For doing it, so I don't have to. To all of the family members of the armed services - I know you miss your loved one and I am greatly appreciative of that sacrifice you make day in and day out. All of you are in my prayers everyday.
