End of Season Fun!!!
You know that commercial where the subjects of photographs are grappling for position so they can be let out of the camera? I had some of those. So, in order to catch up 2010, here are some pictures from the late summer season on the river.
We spent a day on our friend's boat, Marion and Jenn. Jackson got to tube for the first time and Tony got to skurf. I just sat in the boat that day as I didn't have my mojo.
Jackson's first tubing experience. He is hanging on for dear life and she is examining her fingernails. Priceless!
Mackenzie and Jackson - she is there for moral support on his first tubing expedition.
Marion and Jenn like to skurf, which is surfing right behind the boat.

Now, if you are wondering how some folks get HUGE air behind the boat, they load it down with 200 people.
This guy is not Santa in the summer. His name is Mike Murphy and according to legend, he invented water sports. Seriously, his name is on my Sky Ski, so he has definately had a hand in creating some of the toys we all play with on the water: knee-board, sky-ski, and some others.

And, I don't know who the rider was, but he was awesome. Did some fantastic tricks.

Is he flipping me off? I don't think so, but it's hard to tell.
And I leave you with a cute shot of my kid.

At some point this summer was the annual Texas Fly-In, where a bunch of sky-skiiers gather up and play on the water and talk non-stop about sky-skiing. It's fun and all, but that gathering gets bit star-trekky. I just don't have three days worth of stuff to say about sky-skiing.
