THANKSGIVING 2010

We went to Lubbock this year for Thanksgiving and rolled in at 1:30 am. Tony's throat hurt so bad by the time we got there, he couldn't talk. He felt terrible. Good news is, by the next morning, much improvement and he continued to get better through the weekend. We had a great time and Nana & Papa's and even celebrated Tony's birthday with a cake covered in candles. It's been a a while since he actually blew out candles since he doesn't eat cake, it's not a tradition I have insisted upon, but his son certainly enjoyed shining the spot light on his daddy.

What? You haven't learned by now that I often throw in random shots of my dogs?
Colby - my cousin Nancy's baby - he is so stinkin cute - even when he's mad.

Kayden and Jackson - Kayden is Colby's older brother. Those two had a great time playing together.
Nana and I took Jackson to the Ranching Heritage center on the Friday after Thanksgiving. He liked the cows and seeing where the cowboys lived.
A cowboy lives here, but he wasn't home that day because he had to take his cows to where there was green grass. At least that's what I told Jackson. On the way home, we passed a field with winter wheat that was a beautiful green and a gleeful voice from the back, "that's where the cowboys are Mom!"

It is Christmas yet?
My sweet, sweet boy! So good natured, always willing to share, always ready to kiss your mom and tell her that you love her. I love you very much!
