JACKSON'S 5TH BIRTHDAY

Son, I am sorry you were born so close to Christmas. It is such a struggle to get Christmas over and then turn around and get your birthday party together. This year, I failed miserably, but I think you still had an ok birthday.

I brought cupcakes to school during snack time and then we had a pizza party that evening with your Aunt Dana, Richard and Taylor. You enjoyed the party and Mommy even decorated.

The cupcakes....I wanted to do Angry Bird cupcakes since that is what you love these days, so I went to one of those fancy cupcake stores. I love you son, but you will never have those cupcakes again. Not only did I not get my AngryBird cupcakes (they wanted $150.00 for 24 cupcakes), but the $80.00 I foolishly spent on cupcakes, did not taste any better than the ones I could get at Kroger. S

I love you and cant believe you are 5 years old. You will always be my baby and have promised me multiple times you will not be a grumpy teenager.

You are the light of my life and it was not complete until you came along.
