WAKEBOARDING CHAMPION

Jackson "officially" got up on the wakeboard and actually went for a ways.  We gave him his trophy and he was very proud of himself.

He is a verrrry calculating, cautious child and while he will try things, its at his own pace.  Sometimes, we have to encourage him to give it a whirl, but as soon as he does, he usually likes it, but again, at his own pace.  This drives his Dad crazy who does just about everything to the extreme.  What I mean by that, he is almost obsessive about it until he has mastered it to perfection.  Not a bad thing, unless you are the boat driver turing around 9 million times while he was trying to land a flip on the wakeboard.  (He has it down now and I am proud to say he is probably the only 50+ year old out there doing flips on the wakeboard).

But I digress, this post was about Jackson on the wakeboard.  He did great!  I have no pictures or video since it was just the three of us and Tony was behind the wheel and I was in the water with J.  He was proud of himself, but stopped on the high note and didn't want to go again (that's his "pace" thing).

I will work on getting some video soon.  Will need a videographer in the boat.

Other than that, the Texas heat is on, but not so bad, yet...

Happy summer!
