CHRISTMAS 2013
It was fast and furious! Christmas on Wednesday is not fun for those of us who have to travel. We left for Lubbock on Monday night and were home by Wednesday early evening. By not fun, I mean, it's hectic - but still a blast to be at Mom and Dad's for Christmas. The whole gang was there minus Mr. Taylor and Austin. We missed them both.
Christmas Eve we went to church and then to Uncle Kenny's. It was fun to see all the kids and there is a lot of them.
Christmas morning was the usual chaos of paper flying everywhere. Jackson was very excited about his Santa gifts. He was not, however, excited about the clothes mommy bought him. Favorite quote from Christmas morning, "another shirt!".
When we got back home, Jackson told his dad, "Santa came here Dad and brought you a new bow". To which Tony replied that bow was too small for him and it was to Jackson from Santa. So, yes, my 7 year old has his very own compound bow. Yeah! I got Tony a GoPro camera and can't wait to video in high def all the wake boarding, sky skiing and snow skiing this coming year. Yes, that means I will be torturing all friends and family with home video, but hopefully they will be some EPIC film making. And Tony got me some snow blades (really short parabolic skis) I can't wait to give them a try. I saw them last year on the slopes and thought they looked really fun. Will still take me other skis on the trip this coming Spring Break, but cannot wait.
So that's it for now. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
New Year's Eve
