I am not a "journaler" by any stretch of the imagination. However, I often jot down little notes in my day-timer or make a note in my Iphone of things that caught my attention. I found this note in my Iphone. It is a Horoscope from 12-24-06 that I must have found somewhere. Have never been a huge follower of astrology, so it was suprising that I even took the time to jot it down.

Are you so caught up in your dreams that you are ignoring the magic that is in your reality right now? This is not a time to focus on hopes and wishes. It's a time to take stock of what you have, and cherish it. Send an expression of gratitude out into the universe-- concentrate on how very thankful you are that you've come so far in your life. So what if your material goods fall short of someone else's standards! Don't judge yourself by others' expectations.

In today's economic environment, this particularly hit home. I guess that is why I wrote it down; to find it another day when it's meaning would hold true.
